WHAT. A. WEEK.

Launching a startup is exhilarating, exhausting, and often chaotic, and this week definitely checked all 3 of those boxes - and probably a few more!!

The myriad of roles that everyone tells you about when you start a new business, all reared their heads this week. From Founders, to Marketers, IT Managers, Networkers, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounts - even down to shifting boxes off the back of delivery trucks - this week has had it all.

Was it all worth it, the late nights - the EARLY mornings, the sweat, and quite possibly a few tears. We think so.

All of the above led to us holding our first ever event, a showcase, an intimate invite only evening held in collaboration with the Tonique Collective. In attendance, forty of the regions highly prominent Architects, Designers, Project Managers and Clients came together for an evening of conversation, mixed with a little intrigue of what ortus is really about, and we are delighted they did. Experiencing a selection of our partner brands, and their brilliant products and how they can be integrated into their beautiful designs.

Now, back to that role of IT Management, someone who will remain unamed managed to crash both the wesbite and emails this week, so we need to make sure its all back on track.

The startup journey is not for the faint-hearted. Remember to embrace the chaos, cherish the learning, and remember that every hat you wear adds a unique feather to your cap.
